Both chefs are now navigating the renewal of their O‑1 visas, a process that is rigorous, documentation‑heavy, and extremely costly. These visas are reserved for individuals with extraordinary ability in their field — a description that fits them both without question. Still, the legal and filing fees required to maintain their status are significant.

Every dollar contributed will go directly toward these costs and will help ensure that Héctor and Fernando can remain here, continue their work, and keep sharing their gifts with our community.
